WERE DEPUTIES GIFTED WITH ESP?

So now we are told that our intrepid Georgetown County deputies discovered
drug paraphernalia in the vehicle of the individual they fatally shot prior
to this discovery. Does possession of drugs and/or drug paraphernalia
justify the death penalty?

Perhaps these officers are gifted with extrasensory perception and were able
to predetermine a crime in progress that merited capital punishment.
Shooting out the tires in a residential neighborhood makes some sense;
opting to shoot at the driver's head in this situation is terrifying to
contemplate!

Don't get stopped for a traffic violation in Georgetown; you may not survive
the experience.
