FUGITIVE RE-JAILED
A New York city native and Vietnam War protester who fled to Canada after
being convicted of selling $20 (U.S.) worth of LSD three decades ago
returned to court in Rochester, N.Y., yesterday, where he was ordered to
complete his four-year sentence. Allan Harvie Richardson, 50, a prison
escapee who has lived in Vancouver since 1975, changed his name and
illegally entered Canada on Sept. 28, 1971, after selling LSD to an
undercover police officer at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he
was a student.
