M. B. PAUL has revealed, perhaps unwittingly, the agenda of many who
oppose the safe injecting room: a safe injecting room is "only going
to keep addicts alive longer" (Letters, 28 June). Drug addicts are not
a sub-human species to be eradicated; they are our own sons,
daughters, brothers and sisters.
