THERE IS, SURELY, A SIMPLE SOLUTION

Today's front page fills me with dismay. Does the minority Liberal
Government see some political advantage to elect for this costly and
unnecessary action over the injection room impasse? The cost of an
election would surely be more than the the first year of the trial. It
seems that the simple solution is to withdraw the item from the
budget. This satisfies the independents and increases the Budget
surplus. At an early stage present a separate Bill to provide funding
for the already approved injection room. As this is already Labour
policy it will surely pass. Or is this too simple?
