YOUTH TO DEBATE MARIJUANA
Wellington: This year's Youth Parliament will debate whether the personal
use of marijuana should be decriminalised.
The Youth Parliament, an annual event in which young people hold a
debate in the House, will take place on August 28 and 29.
Youth Affairs Minister Laila Harre said the debate would be a chance
for the Government to get a clear picture of what young New Zealanders
thought about moves to change the law.
