DON'T LEGALISE MORE KILLER DRUGS
Mitchell Beston (Letters, July 7) is correct about mixed drug messages.
Our "normalised" drugs, tobacco and alcohol, are our biggest killers
(about 21,000 annually) and yet a minority want to normalise and then
legalise more killer drugs. The Netherlands now has 840 licensed
cannabis cafes and 1420 illegal outlets, with most of the former and
all of the latter supplied by the drug gangs.
