Your comment on Norm Siefken's letter (July 9) that marijuana should be
available by prescription only is well-intentioned but impractical. You
simply cannot require Canadians to obtain a note from their doctors before
ingesting a plant that grows everywhere.

Given your position that marijuana has medical uses, how do you feel about
police routinely kicking in the doors of sick people's homes to confiscate
their medicine? If Canada is the best country in the world, the rest of the
planet must be a cesspool.
