DRUG TESTS AND SLOWER CARS MAY SAVE LIVES

Is the NSW Government serious about reducing the road toll? A drug-affected
truck driver drove on the wrong side of the road and killed two people.

Last week he was given less than six years in jail? It should have been
much longer.

Another driver has been charged with three counts of attempted murder over
an alleged road rage attack in Sydney just last week.

Four 17-year-old youths were killed at Dural after a party. Some people
blamed speed. Should we blame speed for crashes caused by alcohol or drugs?

When will we get random drug testing for drivers? When will we get devices
that stop drunks and drug addicts from driving?

The Government has a duty of care. It is time to increase penalties for
people who cause crashes because of alcohol and drugs.
