HELP FOR ADDICTS
So, Martin Sheen argues passionately against Prop. 36, because his son
nearly died of a drug overdose (July 25). Yet his son got exactly the
medical detox and treatment program that Prop. 36 advocates and did no jail
time. Does Sheen think that a few years in prison would have helped Charlie
Sheen? Or is there one law for poor black kids and another for the children
of the rich and famous?
Such blatant hypocrisy.
