Amalia Richardson's website has gone online and she says she's been
swamped with people wanting to help her campaign to free her husband,
Allen Richardson, from jail.

"The Foreign Affairs Ministry has indicated they are prepared to see
if they can intervene on my behalf to get Allen released," the West
Vancouver woman said yesterday.

Allen Richardson, 50, is in a New York-state jail serving eight months
of a four-year jail term for selling $20 U.S. in LSD to an undercover
cop in 1969. He lived in Canada under an assumed identity for almost
three decades before turning himself in to a U.S. judge last month.
