DRUG TALKS:

President Clinton's chief adviser on drug policy leaves Monday for Mexico
and Colombia to discuss anti-narcotics operations.

Announcement of the trip comes one day after the White House said Clinton
will go to Colombia on Aug. 30 for a one-day visit.

Barry McCaffrey, director of the White House Office of National Drug
Control Policy, will head a U.S. delegation in Mexico City during two days
of meetings about cooperation between the two governments, McCaffrey's
office said Saturday.
