LEAN ON HER

Grammy-winning singer Mary J. Blige is offering support to the
families of two unarmed black men fatally shot by two white police
officers during a drug raid in Berkeley, Mo. Police have said the
shootings were justified because one of the men tried to ram the
officers with his car during the arrest.

Blige briefly attended a rally Friday night at the restaurant where
Earl Murray and Ronald Beasley were shot June 12. Blige is a supporter
of the National Action Network, a civil rights organization formed by
the Rev. Al Sharpton of New York.
