MARIJUANA EFFECTIVE THERAPY
Your editorial page cartoon published July 31 was no laughing matter. The
joke poked fun at a smoker with cancer asking for a medical marijuana
prescription from a doctor.
Lung cancer is contracted by smokers and nonsmokers alike. Cancer is a
devastating disease and marijuana is proven effective treatment for many of
the discomforts associated with cancer. The people of our state have voted
to allow the use of marijuana for medical use. When will our leaders listen?
