FIRMS, SCHOOLS TO BE MOBILISED
PENANG: Employers and schools will be roped in to help fight the
Ecstasy menace, Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said
yesterday.
Dr Fong, who is a MCA vice-president, said he would have a dialogue
with human resource managers of factories and firms to alert them on
the symptoms of Ecstasy abuse so that they could help those addicted.
"We will also mobilise parent-teacher associations to involve them in
educating students on the dangers of Ecstasy.''
He said the MCA would officially launch its campaign against Ecstasy
next Monday.
