DRUG ADDICTS NEED TREATMENT CENTRES, NOT NEEDLE EXCHANGES
What is the best way to deal with Vancouver's drug problem?
Instead of wasting money on needle exchanges, safe injections sites and
other ineffective programs, let's establish more treatment centres,
round up all known drug addicts and place them in these centres. Get
them off drugs and keep them there, until they have kicked the habit.
Once well enough, give them some kind of meaningful work. In the end,
they would be thankful for being given their self-respect back and
becoming productive members of our society.
