NAPTHINE JUST DOING HIS JOB: OPPOSING

Dr Penington surely errs if he believes Dr Napthine has politicised the
issue of facilities for the injection of heroin.

This is a disturbing matter on which a decision has been forced on
parliament and community by well-meaning but sometimes woolly-thinking
academics and welfare agencies.

By opposing (that's his job anyway), Dr Napthine has got the government off
the hook. The Bracks Government no longer has to deal with the problem and
can now blame the Liberals.
