NO MONEY TO COLOMBIA

IT is horrifying that Congress can justify spending $1.3 billion to wage a
drug war in Colombia -- a war that will rain countless deaths and mayhem on
thousands of innocents on both sides and will accomplish nothing more than
stuffing many corrupt Colombian leaders' bank accounts with our tax dollars.

Meanwhile, these same politicians can't see their way clear to approve a
$15 billion a year prescription drug program through Medicare to ease
skyrocketing prescription drug costs that are impoverishing low income and
fixed income retirees in our country.

Maybe in this election year voters will send some or all of these
scoundrels packing.
