BOOZE, NOT MARIJUANA THE REAL GATEWAY DRUG
Self-proclaimed expert, Licia Corbella, makes a foolish assertion in her
column, Why a former stoner doesn't want legal weed, (Aug. 27).
She claims marijuana is the gateway drug, the first drug a person uses,
which leads to experimentation with other drugs.
Since most people use alcohol or tobacco as their first drugs, they must be
the real gateway drugs!
I guess Corbella will fill her column with any nonsense, just to keep the
paycheques coming.
