VICES ARE NOT CRIMES
To the editor:
If every family touched by drug prohibition were to vote for Marijuana
party candidate Alexandre Neron in the Hants-Kings byelection, the issue
would move to the front burner and you could bet every politician would
stand up and take notice.
Vices are not crimes. The persecution of scapegoats has gone on long
enough. If the state has made a criminal of you or a loved one, the time to
speak is now. There are more than 600,000 Canadians with drug-law related
"criminal" records. If you live in fear that one day you or your friends
and family will be added to the list, now is the time to speak up.
