HEAD POLICE DESTROY DRUG EVIDENCE
Defense notified?
Though the policemen in, "Cops admit "poor decision'," may have confessed
their errors in destroying evidence, before trial, because "In the vast,
vast majority of these cases, the defendant pleads guilty to the offense,"
I wondered, would these guilty pleas have been different had the defendant
known the evidence no longer existed to convict them?
Did the prosecutors inform the defense concerning this destruction of evidence?
I didn't think so, but they should have.
