CANNABIS REFORMERS SEEK CASH
The Coalition for Cannabis Law Reform is preparing to ask for about $200,000
from American businessman Peter Lewis - unmasked as the mystery billionaire
drug-smuggler.
The coalition confirmed through former NZ First MP Deborah Morris that it
was preparing an application to Mr Lewis, and several other prominent
international cannabis reform sympathisers.
Ms Morris said the application was based on the fact that Mr Lewis already
supported other international groups advocating the medical use of
marijuana.
She said the billionaire's profile in New Zealand would lend weight to the
application.
