COWBOYS' VANDERJAGT KICKING FOR KIDS

Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Halton has announced Kicks for
Kids, an exciting partnership with Oakville native and Dallas Cowboys
kicker Mike Vanderjagt. The veteran NFL kicker has a long history of
supporting children's charities and will personally contribute $100
for each successful field goal he kicks for the Dallas Cowboys this
regular season.

The Kicks for Kids program will help to raise much needed funding for
the Halton DARE Program, which is delivered in partnership with the
Halton Regional Police Service. This highly-acclaimed program gives
thousands of school children in the region the knowledge they need to
avoid involvement in drugs, gangs and violence.

"I am proud to support the Kicks for Kids program and to contribute
to making a positive difference in the lives of children in Halton
Region this season," said Vanderjagt. "My roots are still in this
community and one of my priorities is aligning myself with local
charities that give back to the community. The Kicks For Kids program
supporting DARE was an excellent fit."

Halton Regional Police Sgt. Gary Gold added, "Sponsors are now needed
to make this program a real success. We are excited to have the
support of someone as well recognized in our community as Mike
Vanderjagt and it is our hope that local business as well as
individuals with roots in Halton Region will follow his example and
help us support the DARE program."

Corporations and individuals are invited to join Vanderjagt in
supporting this initiative by making a pledge supporting the Kicks
for Kids program. Pledge forms will be distributed through a mailing
to local businesses as well as through various schools in Halton Region.

People can also request an electronic version of the pledge form by
sending an e-mail directly to kicks@darehalton.com.

"We hope that when you receive your pledge form you will fill it out
and send it back to us as quickly as you can," said Mike Gorman,
Chair of the DARE Volunteer Board of Directors. "In addition to
supporting a great cause, you will also be eligible to win one of the
autographed footballs generously donated by Mike Vanderjagt."

The DARE board is responsible for fundraising activities on behalf of
the DARE program in Halton and organizes a number of events
throughout the year, including Real Men Can Cook and the annual golf
tournament.

DARE was founded in 1983 in Los Angeles and has proven so successful,
it has been implemented in more than 40 countries around the world.

Vanderjagt, who has been bothered by a groin injury this season,
enters this weekend's NFL action with seven field goals in eight
attempts. The Cowboys will host the New York Giants Monday night.
