Regarding your editorial "Sick and tired at the Olympics," zero
tolerance rules are just another example of the lack of critical
thinking skills that the "war on drugs" has fostered in this country.
Common sense was the first casualty in the war, our constitutional
liberties will be the next.
The prohibitionist anti-drug zealots are so desperate to "win" the
drug war, which is a complete failure, that they won't be satisfied
until every citizen submits a urine sample, the police are free to
search every house and car, and the country is turned into something
resembling a prison.
Welcome to the utopia of a "drug-free America."
