After just returning from a few weeks away and catching up on a few
issues of The Review, I read the letters about Crystal Meth.

Those who think current illegal drugs should be made legal should
take a walk along Hastings Street between Granville and Main as I
did. Go ahead it's safe in the daytime.

If anyone wants to see the ravages of drugs and alcohol, go see for
yourself. You're not likely to be accosted because tons of those poor
souls are incapable of doing anything but drooling, using, sleeping
in boarded up store doorways, urinating and number two in plain sight.

Teachers and DARE folks, why not organize a trip to Hastings in
Vancouver, between Granville and Main? A few hours there might do a
lot of good.
