TIME TO TAKE ACTION

I for one am sick and tired of the drug houses and crime in our
community. It's time for the citizens of merritt to stand up and
fight this problem.

Maybe it is time for a town hall meeting or some way to get together
to figure out what has to be done, because something definitely has
to be done. We need to have representatives of city council, the
police, the justice system, our MP's and the community to come
together and figure out a solution to this problem.

We can no longer accept this criminal activity in our town nor can we
accept the trivial punishment being handed out to these criminals.
It's time to lobby whoever it is we have to to get this problem fixed.

If all the participants listed above could meet, I'm sure we could
figure out a way to approach this problem that would bring our
community a solution. We deserve better then we are getting, and more
importantly our children deserve better then they have coming if we
don't end this now.
