HEROIN 'CANCER' FEARED
Teens as young as 15 are getting hooked on heroin as the drug spreads "like
a cancer" through the youth population in Waterloo Region, police say.
"It's one of these trends that's going to leave a lot of pain and a lot of
bodies behind it," said Staff Sgt. Gary Askin of Waterloo regional police.
Police will soon launch an awareness campaign in high schools.
