DRUG WAR IS A LOST CAUSE
The war on drugs is the problem. In the eyes of the government and law
enforcement, the enemy is any American citizen; we are all suspects. With
the gutting of the Bill of Rights, the government is now free to seize your
property, open your mail, test your urine, let you rot in jail - all
without a trial.
The racism of the war on drugs is evident in the people who are the most
persecuted: Americans of African descent.
The problem in Tulia is not the "labeling of an entire community" but the
misguided, corruption-promoting war on drugs.
