A WRONG MESSAGE?
Colorado residents will have a historic opportunity to vote for cannabis
reform on Election Day. Amendment 20 will allow patients with debilitating
medical conditions to grow and possess small amounts of cannabis for
medical use
God didn't make illegal plants; according to the Bible, when God created
the Earth, he gave humans "every herb-bearing seed" for us to use.
Yet for more than 60 years, the U.S. government has portrayed cannabis as
an evil and deadly plant. All of the government's arguments about the
dangers of cannabis have been proven false over time. In this election, the
only argument it has left is that voting for Amendment 20 will "send the
wrong message" to young people that cannabis is safe. Isn't the wrong
message really contained in the 60 years of government lies and
misinformation about cannabis?
If you've never felt a reason to vote before, this one issue should get you
to the polls. Vote for Amendment 20 to protect your mother or father or
sister or neighbor who may someday be faced with a devastating illness for
which cannabis can provide relief.
Come out and vote to send the message to the government that you will no
longer allow them to make criminals out of sick and dying people who use
cannabis to alleviate their suffering.
