NEW DRUGS EFFECTIVE
Two drugs are nearly as effective as methadone and much more
convenient for treating heroin addiction, according to the New England
Journal Of Medicine. The drugs buprenorphine and levomethadyl acetate
only need to be given three times a week, compared to methadone, which
addicts must take daily.
