PLANTING THE SEED FOR FREEDOM

Your Oct. 25 editorial, "Lame duck Johnson won't pay political price" is an
example of what is wrong with America. We do not want people to speak up and
defend freedom.

New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson supports George W. Bush, Bush supports more
states' rights; therefore it must be that Bush supports Johnson's call to
end the war on drugs at the federal level and allow states to handle the
issue.

The Republicans want to defend states' rights and make the government
smaller, so this is a perfect chance to put words into action.

Genesis 1:29 tells us that God gave us all the plants of the earth,
including marijuana (hemp). I would like to put a little marijuana in my
salad.

Legalize plants again and return my God-given right.
