Re: The editorial "Don't Blame Drugs" (A-J, 10-25). You couldn't be more
right: 23 years for that kind of brutality is not uncalled for.
However, why would any court give someone 20 years-plus for simply "doing
drugs" or even selling drugs to someone who wants them?
Legalization of drug sales through government-controlled regulation, think
of liquor sales, makes a lot of sense and doesn't excuse anyone's criminal
acts against others.
