DUTCH POLICE took Mr Pickles to a variety of coffee shops where they
informed him that "the drug dealers who supply cannabis 'through the
back door' are, generally speaking, the same ones that supply crack,
heroin and ecstasy." The Dutch approach to the cannabis issue has been
in force for more than 20 years.

They haven't changed back because it is demonstrably
working.

It is indeed working but in the Dutch social and cultural context
(believe me not applicable to the UK). Less Dutch than British
children use cannabis.

The average age of Dutch Heroin addicts is older than the average for
British Heroin addicts.

The dealers the Dutch Police told Mr Pickles about are in the UK, not
in Holland!
