PRISON GUARD ALLEGEDLY BEAT INMATE INTO COMA
WHITE PLAINS NY- A prison guard beat an inmate so severely that the victim
has been semi-comatose for a month, Westchester County (NY) officials
alleged Wednesday.
Paul Cote, 34, Mahopac, was indicted on two counts of assault, District
Attorney Jeanine Pirro said. He allegedly attacked the inmate Oct. 10 at
the county jail in Valhanlla.
