WEAK-KNEED APPROACH
Mandatory sentences are a positive step in the right direction.
The high cost of imprisoning criminals is due to Canada's weak-kneed
approach to what prison life is all about.
Prison should be a place which no one wishes to return to.
The problem we face in this country is too many lawyers holding up
court procedures with their appeals and judges who are afraid to do
the duty they are more than handsomely paid for.
