57 ARRESTED IN CAMDEN RAIDS
Camden's High Intensity Drug Traffic Area Task Force raided the
neighborhood of Third and Royden streets in Camden, a known heroin
distribution market, early Wednesday and arrested 57 people.
Camden County Prosecutor Lee A. Solomon and Camden Police Chief Robert
Allenbach said this was a "reversal" operation, aimed at the "demand
side of the illegal drug trade." Those arrested were charged with
third-degree criminal attempt to possess a controlled dangerous substance.
