ROBERTS FACES DRUG CHARGE
Shelburne, N.S. -- Brad Roberts, the driving force behind the band
Crash Test Dummies, is facing a drug charge after a small amount of
marijuana was discovered while he was being loaded into an ambulance
following a car accident two months ago.
Roberts said he felt like a real crash-test dummy when his '89
Cadillac crashed and burned on a remote road in southwestern Nova
Scotia on Sept. 28. He suffered a broken arm and cuts and bruises. The
singer-songwriter with the distinctive deep voice was charged with
possessing marijuana. He is to appear in court Dec. 19.
