Regarding the proposed use of a U.S.-funded biological weapon to wipe
out the heroin trade, I'm appalled at the ignorance and recklessness
of drug warriors.
Even if every last opium poppy were destroyed, addicts would continue
to get drugs. As long as there is a demand there will be a supply. No
killer fungus will ever make the world drug-free.
