WAREHOUSE USED TO GROW POT
LONG BEACH - Police raided a warehouse used for marijuana growing and
arrested three people who allegedly ran a $2 million-a-year pot operation.
Sgt. Steve Filippini called the warehouse "one of the biggest marijuana
cultivation operations narcotics detectives have seen in this city."
Expensive watering systems and growing lights also were seized.
Narcotics detectives discovered the marijuana Tuesday and obtained a search
warrant, the sergeant said. The number of plants seized wasn't clear.
