Re: Federal health minister slams Insite injection site, Aug. 19

I was renovating my house last year and found old newspapers stuffed
in the walls as insulation . The headline on one Vancouver Sun read:
Drastic changes urged in drug war. Putting addicts in jail hasn't
worked, says Tom Reid, chairman of the Senate drug committee.

The date of the paper was April 23, 1955.

I guess they misplaced the file in Ottawa after they spent (I'm sure)
a lot of taxpayers' money on that committee's work. The more things
change, the more they remain the same.
