WHY NOT TEST?
I challenge Michael Vonn of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association to
tell the families of the hundreds killed or injured by impaired
heavy-machinery operators that "random drug testing is never justified."
I'll bet they think it's justified!
I once saw one fellow employee come back from a lunch break after
smoking some marijuana. He was acting like a giddy school kid,
speeding around the warehouse while driving a fork lift.
If testing means a safer work place for employees as well as any
civilians walking by, why not?
