GRAHAM - An Alamance County detention officer was fired after

Jo Ann Hensley, 58 of Mebane was arrested Wednesday following an
investigation that she was allegedly delivering prohibited items,
including marijuana, to inmate Jean Christopher Jerez, 18 of Graham,
the sheriff's office said in a news release.
The alleged incidents occurred from Aug. 11 to 13, officials said.
