FOX TO AIM BLOW AT CRIME, DRUGS
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -- President Vicente Fox will launch an offensive on
drug traffickers and organized crime during his first 100 days in office
that will include some "spectacular blows," his security chief said yesterday.
"Combating organized crime is of the highest priority for President Fox,"
National Security Adviser Adolfo Aguilar Zinser told reporters. "There will
be some spectacular blows."
Among Fox's targets is the powerful Arellano Felix brothers' drug cartel in
Tijuana, Aguilar Zinser said.
