INET DESERVES FUNDING
I would like to express my appreciation to Lane County's Interagency
Narcotics Enforcement Team for helping me save my daughter's life.
Before they took my daughter out of the meth lab she was living in, I was
helpless to do anything about her situation because I didn't have the proof
the authorities needed to go in and rescue her. The meth family that had
control of her was simply too good at lying and conning. I believe the INET
people are heroes, and I will forever be in their debt.
It is a sad thing that the voters of Oregon chose to take their operating
funds away from them by passing Measure 3 without providing them with
another way to finance their war against meth cooks. I can only hope that
the drug cooks set up business next door to these voters, and when these
voters call the police for help, they are told there isn't anything the
INET team can do because it has been dismantled due to lack of funds.
Here's the bottom line: A majority of Oregon voters took INET's money away
without providing them with any replacement funds. Now more children are
going to be molested by whacked-out crank freaks. Many more children will
follow their meth cook parents down the black hole of meth addiction, and
many more children are going to die. I thank God they still had funding
when my daughter and I needed them. It is too bad the voters were focused
on protecting drug cooks instead of our children. Shame on them.
