TEENAGER PLEADS GUILTY TO BREACHING WEB SITES

OSSIPEE, N.H., Jan. 2 (AP) - A teenage hacker who defaced the Web
site of an antidrug organization and a computer security firm pleaded
guilty today to three misdemeanors.

The hacker, Dennis Moran, 18, who went by the name of Coolio, broke
into DARE.com, an antidrug site, and rsa.com, operated by the
Internet company, RSA Security Inc.

If a judge approves a plea agreement, Mr. Moran will serve nine
months to a year in jail and pay $5,000 in restitution to each of the
victims.

Mr. Moran, who lives with his father in Wolfeboro, N.H., will be
formally sentenced this spring after a presentencing investigation.
He pleaded guilty to unauthorized access to computer systems.
