BROOKLYN: TEENAGER DIES IN GUNFIRE

A teenager was killed and a man was critically injured early yesterday when
they were shot in what the police believe was a drug-related dispute. The
teenager, identified as Deshawn Alleyne, 17, was pronounced dead shortly
before 2 a.m. He had been shot once in the back, the police said. The
second man, who is in his 20's but whose name was not immediately released,
was in critical condition at Kings County Hospital Center. The shootings
occurred inside an abandoned building at 151 Madison Street in
Bedford-Stuyvesant, the police said.
