JINGGOY WANTS DRUG-TEST FOR SJ WORKERS

SAN Juan Mayor Jinggoy Estrada yesterday reminded all business owners that
all their personnel must undergo drug test and be tested negative for it.

"We would like this measure to be strictly followed by all business
establishments to create a drug-free workforce in the municipality,"
Estrada said.

An ordinance last year was passed mandating all business establishments not
to accept applicants for employment and continue employing individuals
found positive for drug use.

Also last year, the municipal council has accredited several agencies that
are allowed to conduct drug test.
