INDUSTRIAL HEMP PLENTY POTENT FOR DRUG ABUSE
Dear Editor,
In response to your article on hemp: Hemp is a drug. Hemp has a
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content of 1 percent. This is low; however, it
is quite sufficient to get a smoker high. Much of the marijuana seized
undercover at Woodstock had a THC content that ranged from .2 to 1
percent. A young inexperienced person who tries hemp may very well get a
"high."
If you pick up a High Times magazine you will see that the drug legalizers
admit marijuana and hemp are the same plant. Are they wrong? They seem to
be the most authoritative and experienced.
