SHE SET A POOR EXAMPLE
What was Circuit Judge Florence Foster thinking? Obviously, it wasn't
about the law. How many times do we have to hear about sports,
entertainment, government and other high-profile people getting the
easy way out?
How can I, as a parent, impress upon my children that they should "do
the right thing, or pay the price"? I want to thank this judge (maybe
she could get a stint with Judge Judy) who has made it even more
difficult for the law-abiding citizens to nurture and lead our
children in the right direction.
I guess, as they say, money buys everything.

TWO TYPES OF JUSTICE
Why on earth would Judge Florence Foster have a five-time loser
lecture to others about the subject of drug addiction? This might be
valuable if and when he ever succeeds in his rehabilitation. So far he
is a failure and, notwithstanding humanitarian reasons because of his
health problem, the public is wondering when Straw-berry will pay the
penalty portion for his serious and repeated criminal
infractions.
Also, I noticed that not too long ago Jeb Bush appointed an individual
as a judge on the Hillsborough Circuit Court named Ron Ficarrotta. Joe
Ficarrotta happens to be Darryl Strawberry's attorney. Are these
individuals related? As a reader, I would like to know.
Finally, does anyone else share with me the opinion developed from
cases such as the O.J. Simpson trial, the Strawberry case and Bill
Clinton's admitted perjury that there are two forms of justice in the
United States - one for the poor and one for the rich?

( Editor's Note: Jeb Bush appointed Ron Ficarrotta, Joe Ficarrotta's
brother, to the Hillsborough Circuit Court in 1999.)
REAFFIRMATION OF INJUSTICE
Sentencing a former baseball player guilty of five parole violations
to yet another useless treatment program is an absolute mockery of
justice. In giving her decision, the judge all but got off the bench
and kissed his butt. It just reaffirms that you get special
consideration under the law if you have money or if you are a celebrity.
