NEW DRUG DOG NEEDS NAME
DeKalb County school system safety officials are turning to middle school
students to name the department's newest drug detection dog. The dog, a
2-year-old English-born springer spaniel, will be the fifth on the
district's K-9 Corps. The others are Scoop, Bodi, Tessa and Taz. Students
may enter only one name in the contest. Entry cards are available from
school resource officers and must be turned in by Friday. The winner, to be
announced in early October, will get his or her picture taken with the dog.
