EMPLOYERS TO LEARN HOW TO SPOT SIGNS OF DRUG ABUSE
ASHEVILLE -- Area employers are invited to take a four-hour class Friday to
learn how to detect suspected drug abuse by looking into people's eyes.
WCI Inc. will offer the course featuring the Rapid Eye Check method,
whereby managers and supervisors are trained to be alert to the physical
characteristics exhibited by employees or others who use drugs and abuse
alcohol.
Participants can take the class from 8 a.m. to noon or from 1 to 5 p.m.
Friday at the WCI offices at 324 Ridgefield Court.
Tuition will cost $175 for the general public or $135 for WCI members. For
information, call WCI at 667-3311.
